NEW UTILITY CUSTOMERS


Dear New Utility Customer, Thank you for allowing us to provide you with your utility services.


We provide water, sewer, and electric services.


Other services within the village are provided by several other companies. Here is a list of providers that you will need to contact to set up service:


Village Utilities: water, sewer, and electric are provided by the Village of Marshallville. Call the utility department for information at 330-855-5985. Application may be picked up and dropped off at the Farmers State Bank branch in Marshallville. Renters will also need to have the utility deposit delivered with the application in order for your account to be set up. $300.00 for apartments without electric heat; $400.00 for all electric apartments.


Trash pickup: Kimble Recycling and Refuse holds the exclusive contract for the Village of Marshallville. No other residential trash haulers are allowed to operate within the village. Please contact them at 1-800-201-0005. Cable


TV: The village has two cable companies providing a variety of services for cable TV, internet, and telephone. Either one provides reliable and competitive service. Armstrong 877-277-5711 or Doylestown Cable 330-658-2121 CenturyLink also provides local telephone service at 1-800-201-4099 Dominion is our Natural Gas provider: 800-362-7557, but you should also sign up for our natural gas aggregation program below:


Natural Gas: the village is part of a gas aggregation unit. Call IGS Energy at 877-444- 7427 to lock in a guaranteed rate. Identify yourself as an American Municipal Power, Orrville, Wadsworth, Doylestown, and Marshallville aggregation unit member to get the best rate. How to sign up for new utility service in Marshallville:

1. Go to Farmer’s State Bank on N. Main Street to fill out an application and make any required deposits for service. They will contact the utility department and it is that easy.

WHERE TO PAY


Utility bills can be paid one of three ways:


1) At the Farmer's Bank on North Main St during normal business days.


2) By mail, 10 North Main Street, Marshallville, Ohio 44645.


3) Click on the "Pay Bills" link above and pay online.



Please note payments are not accepted at the Water Treatment Plant. Also, please note utilities are always due the 15th of each month, and the 26th of the month is the shutoff date for bills outstanding.


Another change to the utility application is co-signers are no longer accepted on new applications as of March 3, 2004 , for new tenants of rental units. As of March 3, 2004 , applicants for utilities for rental units will be required to pay the appropriate security deposit.
